Description:
This workshop is designed to help assistants and other support staff understand the various parts for implant restorations. This information can be used to facilitate better communication with patients, labs and others. It will allow participants to become confident in their knowledge of implants, abutments and when to appropriately use them while assisting. Attendees will be presented with information to help them determine which treatment is the best option for their case. This course is a repeat of Dr. Gordon's course (W02) on Thursday, June 29 from 9 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Attendance is limited to 20.

- identify various implant components.
- identify when to use each component.
- understand the pros and cons to specific abutments and when to use them.
- become confident in being able to discuss what each implant component is and how it relates to treatment.
