Description:

This workshop will teach you the advantages of piezo surgery and how it can distinguish your practice. Piezo surgery technology allows extraction of broken teeth and roots with maximum preservation of the extraction socket. The piezo surgical unit acts as a powered Periotome that serves the periodontal ligament around the tooth until complete avulsion. Traditional methods of root tip extraction involve a lot of bone removal with an imprecise and rotating high speed rotary bur. Piezo surgery allows for a more efficient, cleaner and safer root tip extraction method. Learn to perform piezo surgery techniques for clinical scenarios including atraumatic extraction, socket prevention and crown lengthening in this hands-on workshop. Attendance is limited to 20.
