Description:
How are your clinical diagnostic skills of oral mucosal lesions? This lecture will discuss common mucosal lesions intended for general dentists and hygienists to enhance their clinical recognition of mucosal lesions. The lecture will entail several clinical examples of mucosal lesions of the oral cavity with a variety of entities ranging from benign to malignant. During this course, Dr. Belknap will the review the clinical presentation and attendees can become more comfortable recognizing these oral lesions. Each case will have a multitude of clinical intra-oral photographs.

Learning objectives:
Participants will be able to:
- exhibit clinical recognition of common oral mucosal lesions.
- determine which lesions should be viewed as potentially malignant.
- understand the management of each lesion.
