Description:

This advanced course highlights the importance of high-performance team dynamics and communication, systems of care, recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute dysrhythmia, stroke and acute coronary syndromes (ACS). This workshop is intended for healthcare professionals who wish to renew their ACLS certification. Attendance is limited to 25.

Learning objectives:

Participants will be able to:

recognize and initiate early management of peri-arrest conditions.
demonstrate proficiency in providing BLS care.
integrate chest compressions and AED use.
