Description:
This hands-on workshop is for digital assistants who are working with clear aligner therapy in their offices! Knowing how to properly identify malocclusion is no longer just up to the doctor – assistants see it first and are quite capable of noting and educating the patient about the oral health condition. As clear aligner therapy becomes the norm for correcting malocclusion, it becomes evident that assistants really need to know the ins-and-outs of clear aligner therapy. Not only being able to see it and make the patient aware of the long-term effects, but also how clear aligner therapy can help. Not only will you discover the signs and conditions of malocclusion, but you also will discover the digital technology used now to treat it. Using digital scanning for digital impressions with more accurate results to digital photography and digital x-rays. Participants will be able to scan on typodonts and each other, plus take digital photos on each other! Proper PPE will be provided. Attendance is limited to 30.

- understand how it can be treated with clear aligner therapy.
- practice proper scanning.
- grasp why digital photos and X-rays are needed.
- learn how to apply teledentistry.
- practice treatment plan presentation.
