Description:

This lecture will give an overview of the different materials used throughout the process of diagnosing and treating patients with temporomandibular disorders (TMD). How technology can be utilized during this process also will be integrated into the lecture. The treatment sequence used to diagnose and treat TMD patients will be demonstrated through case examples.

Learning objectives:

Participants will be able to:

  • select material for use in restoring patients' temporomandibular disorders (TMD).
  • identify steps involved in diagnosing and addressing TMD symptoms.
  • understand what type of phase two treatments are the best options after TMD patients are stabilized and symptoms are resolved.
