Description:

This lecture is designed for dental assistants and any other team members directly involved in implant care for patients. Dr. Muntean will discuss everything from what an implant is, what to look for to contribute to the process of placing an implant, various options for patients, what different implant parts are for and more!

Learning objectives:

Participants will be able to:

  • understand the basics of what an implant is, the procedure to place it and their role through the process as a dental assistant.
  • learn the parts and pieces involved in the surgeries and restorations of implants.
  • learn what various implant treatment options exist and how to communicate with patients to help them understand their options.
