Description:
Are you a new or aspiring Restorative Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (R-EFDA)? Dr. Willis designed this workshop to encourage dental assistants to become more valued members of the dental team by increasing their knowledge and skill with this hands-on experience. Materials and methods, aesthetic considerations, occlusal concerns, patient acceptance strategies, teamwork and common pitfalls when using sealants, amalgams and composites will be reviewed. Participants will learn the latest techniques then use prepared models to place a sealant, two amalgams and two composites. Emphasis will focus on maintaining excellence, fun and enthusiasm for learning, and to enjoy long-term patient and personal satisfaction in your new restorative career. Attendance is limited to 20.

- know the techniques and sensitivities of each.
- practice placement of restoration on tooth models.
