Technology in the dental office is constantly changing … don’t be left behind! This lecture will review some of the most recent technological advances in dentistry. Topics include new technologies and updates in patient treatment, prevention and restorative maintenance. Ms. Kugel will discuss new restorative materials, silver diamine fluoride, CBCT, polishing, implant care, lasers, whitening and more to keep dental hygienists up to date! Only $59 after the first 100 free seats are secured!

Learning objectives:

Participants will be able to:

  • discover advances in technology available to dental offices.
  • discuss the current shift to preventive dental varnishes and the science behind varnishes.
  • review appropriate maintenance of dental restorations including dental polishing and identify considerations before beginning.
  • understand how technologies including CBCT, intraoral scanners, 3D printing and more can help patients and practices.
