Description:
“You're not the sort of dental assistant that can train their doctor with a mere lifting of an eyebrow. You’ll have to work at it.” (Infamous words from How to Train your Dragon, of course)! It’s so easy for your doctor to get tunnel vision throughout the day – like they're wearing loupes 24/7. As a dental assistant, it’s your job to clear that tunnel to the best of your abilities so you can deliver smooth and effective patient care. Dental assistants are internally connected to the doctor’s behavior and tendencies more than most team members, and that’s the beauty of four-handed dentistry. During this lecture, Ms. Donawa will discuss the best ways to plan and organize your work lifestyle as a dental assistant. With these skills you’ll be able to stay ahead of schedule, take control of your patient care, experience less stress and gain more mental clarity. Be prepared to learn how to channel your mind into the thoughts and behaviors of your dentist so you can gain better control of managing the workday and atmosphere of your office.
