This lecture will describe the current Dental Service Organization (DSO) space in a way that is understandable for practice owners. There are many positive results that can come about when engaging in a practice transition involving a DSO, but you must also understand the various aspects of this type of transaction in order to prepare for a successful transition. This course will magnify all the advantages and disadvantages so attendees can make the best decision for themselves.

- understand the DSO space to better make decisions in regard to transitioning ownership of a dental practice.
- develop ways to improve the financial outcomes of a successful transition.
- learn how to improve the value of their practice in terms of a possible sale to a DSO and/or their sale to another dentist or group practice.
- understand the pitfalls within the DSO space that could affect you on a long-term basis.
