Description:

This lecture has been designed to impart the understanding of diagnostic and treatment modalities necessary to properly treat patients who are candidates for full-arch dental implant therapy. This lecture will use case-based learning methodology and provide attendees with the opportunity to understand the topics that will be discussed. Drs. Portnof and London will cover digital workflow, implant treatment planning for full arch reconstruction and placement, as well as soft-tissue management. Additional topics that will be discussed include guided tissue regeneration, indications and contraindications for the use of zygomatic implants and relevant reviews of literature emphasizing evidence-based clinical practice.

Learning objectives:

Participants will be able to: 

  • diagnose and treatment plan difficult cases for full-arch rehabilitation with endosseous dental implant-supported prosthesis. 

  • implement virtual surgical planning to create a prosthetic-driven treatment plan. 

  • understand what is necessary and how to properly treat patients needing full-arch dental implant therapy.
