Description:

Why do dentists think there is no such thing as the audit police? Every insurance company is now updating their billing software to audit everyone with artificial intelligence (AI) software. With this AI software, they are looking at every code and documentation to ensure it matches what's being billed and how many times you perform a service. Learn how to document and keep your patients' files updated, and how to do an internal audit before receiving a form stating that the office is being audited! Attendees will leave this course understanding how to document patient records, what and how you are diagnosing, with the use of your clinical skills, CBCT, X-rays, oral saliva and diabetic blood testing.

Learning objectives:

Participants will be able to:

  • understand what and how you are diagnosing, and how to document it.
  • learn how to document and keep your patients’ files updated.
  • recall the reports that should be run daily, weekly and monthly to provide your office with your internal auditing.
  • recognize the benefits of having a compliance manual to follow with all the consent forms, telephone skills and informed refusal form to use on every patient.
