Description:

Learn to offer various popular treatments in your practice with botulinum toxin type A in this hands-on, introductory workshop. This comprehensive didactic and live-patient program will train attendees on the most popular and requested treatments to provide comprehensive patient care and total facial aesthetics in the dental practice. Teaching both the cosmetic and dental therapeutic applications of botulinum toxins, attendees will learn various treatments to optimize patients' dental cases, gain a significant competitive advantage, and maximize practice profitability. During the morning didactic portion of the course, instructors will provide an A-Z review of key fundamentals for successful incorporation, including pertinent facial anatomy and muscle physiology, as well as botulinum toxin’s history and mechanism of action. The integration of botulinum toxin into patient treatment plans will be discussed, from patient consultation to proper evaluation and diagnosis, dosage, injection techniques and proper placement for desired outcomes. Specific areas of treatment will be explained with before-and-after case presentations as well as instructor demonstrated. Detailed information will be provided on proper protocols, safety and risk concerns when using botulinum toxin along with the management and treatment of potential complications. Attendees will also gain valuable insight and business pearls on the potential for practice growth and profitability, as well as implementation with staff training and patient education. The afternoon live-patient portion of the workshop will provide attendees with the opportunity to diagnose, treatment plan and treat a model patient with botulinum toxin with one-on-one mentored guidance from an instructor. Upon completion of this full-day workshop, attendees will have the clinical confidence and fundamental skills to successfully and seamlessly implement botulinum toxin treatments into their dental practice. A one-hour lunch break will be provided during this course. Attendance is limited to 20. *Paid team member learning is a co-learning experience with a paid doctor attendee.
