Description:
This workshop is tailored for novice and experienced general dentists. Participants will learn via exercises on acrylic and extracted teeth how to locate and negotiate canals (including curved and calcified), instrument and obturate more efficiently and safely. Practical tips and tricks will be discussed. Attendance is limited to 20.

Learning objectives:

Participants will be able to:

  • learn the essentials in stainless steel and NiTi file handling and canal preparations.
  • locate and negotiate calcified and curved canals (including the mesial buccal canal) using new NiTi files.
  • obturate the instrumented teeth in 3D, predictably and efficiently.
  • evaluate instrumented and obturated canals via digital radiographs and microscopes.

 




Participant Requirements:
Loupes and at least three extracted teeth stored in bleach (must be previously accessed but not instrumented and not placed in stone).
