Description:
This workshop is tailored for instruction in techniques to restore the primary dentition that may not have been taught in dental school. Restoration of primary maxillary incisors, mandibular primary molars and instruction in the use of chairside space maintainers are included. Attendees will leave this course with an understanding of Class III restoration of primary maxillary incisors for improved retention, strip crowns for full-coverage restoration of primary maxillary incisors and how to restore mandibular primary molars with zirconia crowns. Attendance is limited to 25.

Participants will be able to:

  • learn Class III restoration of primary maxillary incisors for improved retention.

  • use strip crowns for full-coverage restoration of primary maxillary incisors.

  • restore mandibular primary molars with zirconia crowns.

  • determine the indications for and appropriate use of space maintainers along with use of chairside space maintainers.
