Description:
This course will address the prevention and management aspects of early childhood caries, introduce and discuss minimally invasive dentistry techniques, and focus on silver diamine fluoride. The protocol for clinical application and criteria will be discussed as well other relevant clinical considerations.

Learning objectives:

Participants will be able to:

  • understand the general practitioner and allied health professional's clinical applications of silver diamine fluoride (SDF) in the infant and pediatric population.
  • learn the protocol for clinical application and criteria for SDF.
