As health care professionals, it's important to recognize the widespread use of herbal remedies and essential oils and their presence in the U.S. marketplace. From turmeric and aloe vera to cannabidiols, patients are exploring how these products can address health problems and promote health. Essential oil use also is increasingly used both topically and internally. In this course, Dr. Low Dog, a national expert on dietary supplements, will discuss the most current evidence of safety and effectiveness for the top-selling botanicals and essential oils.
